Annual Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Transparency Statement 2026
This Modem Slavery Transparency Statement has been approved by the Board of Qatar National Bank (Q.P.S.C.), in compliance with section 54 of the UK Modem Slavery Act 2015 (the "Act").
Modem slavery comprises of slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, human trafficking and other forms of exploitation. QNBUK branch recognises that modem slavery is a violation of fundamental human rights and is committed to conducting its business ethically and with integrity, taking steps to prevent modem slavery and human trafficking within its operations, supply chain and business relationships.
Our Organisation and Supply Chain
QNB Group is an international financial institution incorporated and headquartered in Doha, Qatar, employing over 30,000 employees across more than 28 countries through branches, subsidiaries and representative offices, including the QNBUK branch.
As a provider of financial services, QNBUK's procurement activities are predominantly centred on professional and operational support services, with limited procurement of goods, reflecting the Branch's operating model.
Our principal supplier categories include:
- Professional advisory and consultancy services
- Recruitment and employment services
- Facilities management and building services
- Routine office supplies and services
- Employee benefit services
- Training providers
- Security services
Whilst these supplier categories generally present a relatively low inherent risk of modem slavery, QNBUK recognises that labour exploitation may occur within supply chains and therefore applies proportionate due diligence.
Governance
QNBUK's Executive Committee (Exco) has overall responsibility of ensuring that we maintain effective governance arrangements to identify and manage modem slavery risks.
Responsibility of implementing this statement lies with the QNBUK Senior Management, which oversees the UK Branch's procurement arrangements, supplier due diligence, policy implementation and employee awareness.
QNBUK's Policy relating to slavery and human trafficking
QNBUK maintains a zero-tolerance approach to modem slavery and human trafficking. When hiring staff, we operate a robust recruitment process in accordance with UK employment laws and ensure that all prospective employees are legally entitled to work in the UK. We pay our staff appropriate market salaries and include other benefits such as health and welfare options.
QNBUK branch is committed to an open culture and encourage employees to raise concerns relating to slavery and human trafficking through its confidential whistleblowing and grievance arrangements without fear of retaliation.

Due Diligence Process
QNBUK recognises its responsibility to work with suppliers and business partners who work in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
We have in place systems and processes to:
- Identify and assess potential risk areas amongst our suppliers
- Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring amongst our suppliers
- Monitor those of our suppliers that present the greatest risk
- Review of suppliers Modem Slavery Statement where applicable
We ask all our suppliers to sign up to our Supplier Code of Conduct to ensure contractual obligations requiring compliance with applicable laws, including the Modem Slavery Act 2015 are met where applicable. We also obtain and review modem slavery statements of our suppliers.
Risk Assessment
QNBUK, adopts a risk-based approach when assessing exposure to modem slavery.
In addition to undertaking an assessment at onboarding, we periodically review all our supplier and outsourcing arrangements which includes an assessment of modem slavery and human trafficking risks. Given the nature of our business, we assess our overall risk to modem slavery as relatively low.

- Anti-Bribery and Corruption
Approval
This statement is approved and signed off locally by QNBUK branch CEO and Group Chief Executive Officer and Group Chief Compliance Officer on 17th of August 2026 and in accordance with section 54 of the Modem Slavery Act 2015.
This statement will be reviewed annually to ensure that it continues to reflect QNBUK's approach to identifying, preventing and mitigating the risk of modem slavery and human trafficking within its operations and supply chains.
